Sometimes there's never really enough hours in the day, but physiotherapy in any shape or form should never be rushed.
We believe that a minimum 60 minute appointment allows ample time to effectively conduct physiotherapy treatments.
Our team's extensive knowledge and hands-on experience enable us to diagnose and treat a wide variety of ailments.
A rehabilitation programme is an important part of recovery from an injury whether it has resulted from a sporting injury or something in a patients day-to-day life.
A bespoke rehabilitation plan will be designed for patients to regain muscle strength, movement control or mobility depending on the type and stage of their injury.
Patients are each sent an email following their assessment with videos of their exercises. This is to ensure they have all the information required to help their recovery.
SPORTS INJURY REHABILITATION
Experiencing an injury when you enjoy being active can be hugely frustrating!
We understand how important participating in sport is for your mental and physical health but also for the social connection and sense of community that often comes with it.

Manual therapy is the ‘hands-on’ treatment many people associate with Physiotherapy and Sports Therapy.
This can involve mobilising and manipulating joints and soft tissues.
These treatments can compliment your rehabilitation programme by reducing pain and improving mobility.
ADVICE AND EDUCATION
One of the most important, if not THE most important aspect of your treatment. We believe that the more you understand about your body and your condition the more you are able to help yourself.
We are passionate about empowering people to manage their own health to not only resolve their current problem but to prevent further injuries in the future.
Many conditions don’t need a long course of treatment and often simple advice and education along with a rehabilitation programme is all that is needed.
Massage involves manipulating the soft tissues of the body and can be part of managing an injury or part of your maintenance/recovery from training or competition.
Massage can reduce pain and improve mobility and enhance feelings of well-being, regardless of your activity levels.
Contrary to popular belief, Sports Massage doesn’t have to be excruciatingly painful to be effective!
Acupuncture originates from a traditional Chinese medicine.
Whilst there is very little good quality medical evidence for long-term effectiveness of acupuncture, in some people, it can provide pain relief which can help as part of your recovery.
Anna has completed post-graduate training in acupuncture in addition to her Physiotherapy training. Medical grade, sterile needles are used in the clinic and we are fully licensed.

Many of us find that we are sitting for long periods, and have other factors such as poor sleep patterns or life stress which can impact or even cause pain or injury.
